In 1839 Ann Vivian, widow, was the sole executrix of her husband's will.
In 1845 Ann Gordon was a beneficiary of her father's will, who left her 10 guineas to buy herself a ring or other memorial, writing that 'though I do not make any further provision for her it is not from any want of affection towards her but in consequence of her being already amply provided for.'
In 1851 Ann Brougham Gordon, aged 49, born in England, and husband A. L. Gordon, aged 47, born in Scotland, Minister of the Free Church Scotland, were in Hastings St. Leonard, Sussex. With them were Ann's son John Vivian (17) of Scotland, student, and daughter Belinda J Gordon (12) of Scotland.
In 1861 Ann Gordon, aged 59, born in London, and husband Abercrombie L. Gordon, aged 57, born in Scotland, clergyman of the Free Church of Scotland, were living at Palace Square, Battersea, Surrey.
