  Research Notes:

In 1808 Joseph Rylph son of Abraham Rylph was named as a beneficiary in the will of his maternal grandfather, Houghton Vivian of Gwennap Cornwall.

In January 1825 Joseph Ralph was present at the marriage of his sister Alice Ralph to John Tregonning in Gwennap.

In 1841 Joseph Ralph, aged 46, born in the county, miner, was in Carharrack, Gwennap. With him were (mother) Elizabeth Ralph (70), and (sister) Mary Ralph (45).

In 1851 Joseph Ralph, aged 55, born in Gwennap, copper miner, and wife Elizabeth Ralph, aged 55, born in Gwennap, were in Treskerby, Gwennap.

In 1853 Joseph Ralph was the sole-surviving executor of the will of his brother-in-law Francis Ralph of Carharrack (late husband of Joseph's sister Ann).
