TROON AND DISTRICT NOTES.

MR. Henry Bosanko, a respected inhabitant, of Troon, died at his residence on Tuesday morning week. A widow and married daughter are left to mourn the loss of a devoted husband and father. We would tender to them the sincere sympathy we truly feel with them in their bereavement. For several years deceased has been troubled with bronchial affections. Nothing serious was apprehended until Thursday, when he became suddenly ill, and gradually sank till he expired.

DECEASED has been taking quite a lively interest in the mission that the Methodist bodies have been conducting of late. He attended a mission service the Wednesday evening previous. For many years deceased had been quite an important member of the U.M.F.C. choir, and worked at South Condurrow, under the old company. He has also worked under the present company. The funeral took place on Thursday at Troon cemetery.
