At home was daughter Mary Ann Meriton (33) of Camborne. They had 3 boarders, one of whom, William Martin (18) of Camborne, blacksmith, was her youngest son (though this isn't stated).

There is an entry in the GROE marriage index for 1874 recording the marriage of a Mary Merriton and either Richard Hill or William Toy. Mary does not appear under either surname in the 1881 census.
