In 1841 Mary Vivian, aged about 55, born in the county, tailoress, was in Bodriggy, Phillack, Cornwall. With her were (daughter) Phillippa Gordon (30), Dress M[aker], and (grandson) William Gordon (10).

In 1851 Mary Vivian, aged 66, born in Phillack Cornwall, widow, post-office pensioner, was with her daughter Philippa Gordon and her family in Bodriggy, Phillack.

In 1861 Mary Vivian, aged 76, born in Phillack, widow, post-office pensioner, was living in Copper House, Phillack. With her was granddaughter Mary J. Gordon (13) of Phillack, scholar.
