In 1871 Julia Thomas, aged 30, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband Richd. Thomas, aged 29, born in St. Hilary Cornwall, tin miner, were living in Adelaide St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) James (2), and Elizabeth (1).

In 1881 Julia Thomas, aged 40, born in Camborne, and husband Richard Thomas, aged 39, born in Marazion Cornwall, tin miner, were at 13 Vyvyans Row, Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne) James (12), miner's son, Elizabeth (10), miner's daughter, William (8), scholar, Edith (6), scholar, John (4), scholar, Arthur (2), and Annie (2 months).

The death took place on Thursday, at the residence of Mrs. G. B. Tangye, in Chapel-street, of Mrs. Julia Thomas, at an advanced age. The deceased was the widow of Mr. Richard Thomas, who died at Vyvyan-street thirty-two years ago, and mother of Messrs. Willie, Jack and Arthur Thomas, all deceased. She leaves one son and three daughters, Mr. James Thomas, of Wesley-street, Mrs. Smith, of Dawlish, Mrs. Walk of Plymouth, and Mrs. G. B. Tangye, of Chapel-street.
