  Research Notes:

In 1841 Simon Vivian, aged about 45, born in the county, b[lack]smith, and wife Jane Vivian, tailoress, were living in Trelowarren St., Camborne, Cornwall.

In February 1842 Simon Vivian was present at the marriage of William Treglown and Mary Anne Mayne in Camborne.

In 1851 Simon Vivian, aged 57, born in Camborne, master blacksmith, and wife Jane Vivian, aged 58, born in Stithians Cornwall, were living in West Side of Union St., Camborne. With them was granddaughter Julia Treglown* (8) of Camborne.

* Jane's granddaughter from her first marriage—daughter of the above William Treglown and Mary Anne Mayne.

Simon married Jane Maine, widow of William Maine, daughter of John Tregonning and Mary Odgers, on 23 Aug 1824 in Camborne, Cornwall. (Jane Tregonning was christened 8 May 1793 in Stithians, Cornwall and died in 1874 in the Falmouth District, Cornwall, aged 82 years.)
