Capt. Joseph Vivian of Reskadinnick, Camborne, died aged 87 years (burial record).
--------------------------
Captain Joseph Vivian, of Reskadinnick, late manager of North Roskear, North Crofty, South Condurrow, and several other mines, died on Thursday at the advanced age of 87. He was buried in the parish graveyard on Monday at 8.30 a.m. The funeral, though intended to be a private one, was attended by a large number of people, the mining and farming interests especially being well represented. Had the funeral been of a more public character, say at 11 instead of at 8.30 a.m., several hundreds would have been present, as Captain Vivian has always been respected and much liked in the neighbourhood.
