In the 1939 Register Henry Laity (b. 14 Aug 1866), horseman on farm (retired), and wife Eliza Laity (b. 13 Apr 1873*), unpaid domestic duties, were living in Trescowe Common, Godolphin Bridge Hill, Godolphin Cross. At the same address was (Eliza's widowed mother) Mary A Norris (b. 1 Sep 1842), incapacitated.
