In September 1905 Redvers Laity was present at the marriage of his brother Richard Rowling Laity to Alice Mary Banfield in St. Hilary.

In 1911 Walter Redvers Laity, aged 27, born in St. Hilary, single, farmer, was living in Colenso, St. Hilary. With him were mother Phillippa Laity (67) of Breage, widow, and sister Lamanda Laity (31) of St. Hilary, single, works on farm.

In September 1913 Walter Redvers Laity was present at the marriage of his sister Phillippa Lemanda Laity to William Harris in St. Hilary, Cornwall.

In 1921 Walter Redvers Laity, aged 37, born in St. Hilary, farmer, wife Edith Laity, aged 25, born in Helston Cornwall, and children Walter John (4), Redver Bullen (2y 3m), Edwin Richard (1y 6m), were with his brother Edwin R Laity and his family in in Colenso, St. Hilary.

In the 1939 Register Walter R Laity (b. 10 Mar 1884), married, 100% war pensioner, was in St. Michael's Hospital, Foundry Hill, Hayle, Cornwall. Wife Edith Laity (b. 27 Jun 1897, married), and sons Richard E. Laity (b. 13 Nov 1919) and Frederick Laity (b. 10 Sep 1925) were at 26 Rose Cottages, Camborne, Cornwall.
