In the 1939 Register Zaccheus A. Laity (b. 31 Dec 1870), farmer, and wife Adaline Laity (b. 12 Dec 1870), unpaid domestic duties, were living in Helston Road, Goldsithney, Cornwall. At the same address were (children, single) William Z (b. 9 Nov 1895), farm assistant, Lillian A (b. 16 Aug 1897), domestic, and Thomas Ambrose (b. 25 Feb 1910), farm assistant.
