In 1871 Sarah Cock, aged 26, born in St. Hilary Cornwall, miner's wife, was with her widowed mother in Fore St., Perranuthnoe Cornwall. With her were her children Ada Cock (4) of Paul, Cornwall, and Nicholas Cock (1) of Perranuthnoe.

On September 6, 1871, Sarah Cox, wife, and children Ada Cox (aged 4) and Nichls Cox (infant), arrived in New York USA per the vessel S.S. Colorado. 4

At the time of the 1880 U.S. Federal Census Sarah Cox, aged 35, born in England, keeping house, and husband Nicholas Cox, aged 35, born in England, coal miner, were living in Ashley, Luzerne, Pennsylvania. With them were children (a) born in England: Ada (13), Nicholas (10), Richard (2), and (b) born in Pennsylvania: Catharine (4), and Lilly (2 months).

In 1900 Sarah Cox, born Dec 1844 in England, house keeper (mother of 10 children, 4 deceased), and husband of 34 years Nicholas Cox, born Jan 1845 in England, water? tender, were living in North Braddock, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. With them were children (single) Katie, b. Nov 1875 in Pennsylvania, Richard, b. Dec 1877 in England, pipe fitter, May Lilly, b. Mar 1880 in Penna, A. Florence, b. Mar 1883 in Penna, school, and S. Mary, b. Dec 1885 in Penna, school.

In 1910 Sarah V Cox, aged 65, born in England, and husband Nicholas Cox, aged 65, born in England, rigger in steel works, were living in Braddock Ward 2, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. With them were children Richard E. (32) of England, single, pipe fitter in steel works, and Mary S. (23) of Pennsylvania, single.

In 1920 Sarah V Cox, aged 74, born in England, and husband Nicholas Cox, aged 74, born in England, were living in Braddock, Allegheny, Pennsylvania. With them was daughter Mary S. Cox (32), clerk.

Sarah married Nicholas Cock in 1865 in the Penzance District, Cornwall. (Nicholas Cock was born about 1845 in England, died in 1938 in Allegheny Co., PA, USA and was buried in Braddock Cemetery, North Braddock, Allegheny, PA, USA.)
