In 1871, Willm. Pepperell (54) [sic] of Slapton, farm labourer, and wife Mary (49) of Halwell, were living in Brownston cottage, Brixham Devon. Present were children: Harriet Langworthy (22) of Halwell, Wm. Hy. (18) of Kingswear, mason, Philip (9) of Brixham, scholar, mother[-in-law] Mary Langworthy (81) of Blackawton, widow.
