LATE MRS. L. BUNNEY
Widow of Chacewater Headmaster
The funeral took place at Wesley Chapel, Camborne, on Wednesday of Mrs. Lucie Bunny, of 13, Well Way, Newquay, who died in Newquay Hospital. Mrs. Bunney was the widow of Mr. W. E. Bunney, a former headmaster of Chacewater CP School, who died some 20 years ago. During her long period of residence at Chacewater she was associated with Station-road Methodist Church. Mrs. Bunney, who is survived by two daughters, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Pascoe, of Camborne. Her brother is Mr. A. Pascoe, of Illogan Highway (a former of Pool CS School).
The Rev. R. H. Luke, who officiated, paid tribute to a life well and truly lived and recalled her early association with Camborne Wesley. Mr. W. O. Mitchell was the organist. Mourners and friends attending were Mr. and Mrs. H. S. H. James and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. John, Newquay (sons-in-law and daughters), Mr. A. Pascoe (brother), Mr. and Mrs. J. Pascoe (nephew and niece), Mrs. L. Bunney (sister-in-law), Mrs. M. Thomas (cousin), Mrs. Ivey Oats, Miss L. M. Hancock (cousin), Mr. A. F. Cock (cousin), Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Solomon, Mrs. A. Grimes and Mr. E. C. Edwards (Newquay), Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Luke (Station-road Methodist Church, Chacewater and the staff and pupils of Chacewater CP School), Mrs. G. Paull (Chacewater) and others.
