"Keith L. Rex Rector, 70, of Hayes Road, Tariffville, husband of Lorraine M. (Vincent) Rector died, Thursday, (June 5, 2003) at the Governor's House, Simsbury. He was born October 6, 1932 in Shullsburg, WI, son of the late John L. and Jennie (White) Rector and had lived in Simsbury for the past 40 years. He was a veteran of both the United States Navy and Army having served in the Korean Hostilities. Mr. Rector was employed by the Town of Simsbury, Highway Department for many years prior to his retirement and was a member of the VFW Metacomet Post # 1926, Simsbury. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Keith L. Rector, II and his fiancee, Shannon Watson both of West Granby; a daughter and son-in-law, Maryelizabeth and Alan Campbell of Malvern, PA; a brother, Richard Rector of Arizona; two sisters, Enid Burke and Marion McLoon both of Shullsburg, WI; and a granddaughter, Ainsley Campbell...." 2
