Obituary
"Donald A. Eustice, 77, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 1988, at the Dodgeville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Eustice was born July 27, 1911, in Rewey. He was the son of William and Margaret (Jones) Eustice. He was a graduate of Belmont High School and the Madison Business College. He was a line-o-type operator and advertising supervisor for weekly newspapers in Belmont, Darlington, and Clinton, Iowa. He was united in marriage to the former Mary Hancock, Shullsburg, on Sept. 21, 1940.
In 1941, he returned to Belmont where he joined the family business of William A. Eustice & Sons. He served as undersheriff of Lafayette County from 1938 to 1940. He was a charter member of the Belmont Lions Club serving as president and secretary. He was an active member of the Belmont Sportsman Club and St. Philomena's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Oliver (Sally) Julien, Barrington, Ill., Mrs. William (Penny) Tiedemann, Kurtville, Mo., and Mrs. George (Jane) Leffler, Poway, Calif.; a son, Dick, Eau Claire; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Jayne Richardson, Mrs. Bernita Miller both of Madison, Berniece Aurit, Dodgeville, and Mrs. H. A. (Barbara) Long, Darlington; three brothers, Ronald, Sherman and Robert, all of Belmont....." 3
