In 1851 Henry Vivian, aged 61, born in Camborne, working engineer, and wife Maria Vivian, aged 58, born in Camborne, were living in College St., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) William (30), copper miner, Ann (24), governess, Harriet (20), milliner, [wife's] nephew Sampson Swaine (23) of Penryn, copper miner.
In 1861 Henry Vivian, aged 71, born in Camborne, widowed, working engineer, was living in Victoria St., Camborne. With him was daughter Harriet (29) of Camborne, housekeeper. Daughter Maria Tyack and her husband were living nextdoor.
