"BELMONT - William Ronald "Ron" Eustice, age 89, of Belmont, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Lafayette Manor Nursing Home in Darlington. He was born Feb. 5, 1916, in Rewey, the son of William A. and Margaret (Jones) Eustice. Ron graduated from Belmont High School in 1933. He married Mary Pegg on June 2, 1938. He was co-owner of William Eustice and Sons, along with his father and two brothers, Don and Bob, for 54 years, retiring in 1989. Ron was a lifetime member of the Belmont United Methodist church, Platteville Elks Lodge No. 1460, a past member of the Belmont School Board, Belmont Fire Department, and was very active for many years in the Belmont Community School Fair. Ron was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eustice of Belmont; three daughters, Priscilla (Lowell) Hinkins of Safford, Ariz., Connie (William) Kamps of Belmont and Rhonda (Jim) Riechers of Willow Springs, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Jeff (Susan) Hinkins, Julie (Clay) Thompson, Heidi (Dean) Elledge, Rob (Holly) Riechers, Tami Brown (friend Mitchell Mills), Stephanie (Mike) Pfeil, and Amy Kamps; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Marian) and Sherm (Rose) Eustice, both of Belmont; and two sisters, Bernice Aurit of Dodgeville and Barbara Long of Darlington. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Eustice; his sisters, Grace Bockhop, Jayne Richardson, Bernita Miller, and in infancy, Beverly Eustice; his sisters-in-law, Mary Eustice, June Eustice, Arlene Eustice, Floss Martin and Dode Miller; and his brothers-in-law, Wilbur Bockhop, Carson Richardson, Robert Aurit, Ernie Miller, H. A. "Preach" Long, Bill Martin and Charles Miller...." 3
