Council Hill Woman Dies
Mrs. Gladys Davis, wife of Laban Davis, passed away Tuesday morning at 2:45 o'clock at Mercy Hospital. The deceased was born at Greenville, Ill., twenty-one years ago, and had been a resident of Council Hill, Ill. She was a member of Council Hill, Ill. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of that place. The funeral services will be held Friday at Council Hill, with interment at Scales Mound, Ill.
She is survived by her husband, Laban Davis, a daughter, one day old, and a brother, Robert Ray, of Evanston, Ill. The body was shipped to Council Hill Wednesday afternoon. 1
