In 1841, Gilbert Bennett (30), tin miner, was living in Park Bracket, Camborne. Present were [mother] Mary Bennett (70), independent, [sister] Mary Bennett (40), independent, [sister] Ann Bennett (35), independent, and Richard Bennett* (14), tin mine boy

* Probably Gilbert's nephew, son of brother Richard.

In 1851, Gilbert Bennetts (40) of Illogan, copper miner, and wife Eleanor (30) of Camborne, were living in Park Bracket Camborne. Present were children (born in Camborne): Gilbert (6), Ellen (5), Mary (2), Fanny (9m)

Gilbert married Eleanor KNIGHT, daughter of Joseph KNIGHT and Mary LUKE, in 1843 in Redruth District, Cornwall. (Eleanor KNIGHT was born in 1820 in Illogan, Cornwall, christened on 13 Aug 1820 in Illogan, Cornwall, died in Mar 1890 in Vyvyan St., Camborne, Cornwall and was buried on 27 Mar 1890 in Camborne, Cornwall.)
