In 1851 Abraham Pearce, aged 12, born in Illogan Cornwall, was at home with his widowed mother in Cock's Court, Redruth, Cornwall.

In 1861 Abraham Pearce, aged 22, born in Redruth Cornwall, copper miner, and wife Emma Pearce, aged 18, born in Redruth, were living at 4 Bakehouse Row, Redruth. With them was daughter Elizabeth (1) of Redruth.

In 1871 Abraham Pearce, aged 33, born in Illogan Cornwall, tin miner, and wife Emma Pearce, aged 29, born in Redruth Cornwall, were living in Cross Street, Redruth. With them were children (born in Redruth) Elizabeth (18)*, William (16)*, Eliza J. (15)*, and Emma (14)*.

* These ages are up to ten years out.
