Philip Rowe's age is all over the place in the Censuses. Hence it is likely that the Philip Rowe who died in 1874 was this Philip, even though he is shown as having been 86 when he died. However, there is no record, either in the baptismal registers or in the Censuses prior to 1871 of a Philip Rowe born c. 1788.
