In 1891 Alice A. Penberthy, aged 29, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband Stephen H. Penberthy, aged 29, born in Hayle Cornwall, foundry furnace man, were living in Venta League, Phillack, Cornwall. With them were children (all born in Hayle): Stephen S. (7), scholar, Richard H. (2), Leah (11 months).

In 1895 Alice Ann Penberthy, widow, was granted Administration of her husband's personal estate.

In 1901 Alice A. Penberthy, aged 40, born in Camborne, widow, was living in Venta League, Hayle, East Phillack. With her were children (all born in Hayle): Stephen S. (18), brass moulder, Richard H. (12), Leah (10), Ruth (8).

In 1911 Alice Ann Kneebone, aged 50, born in Camborne, and husband of less than one year Samuel Kneebone, aged 55, born in Phillack, coal porter, were living in Myrtle Cottage, Ventonleague, Hayle.

In 1921 Alice A. Kneebone, aged 60 years 6 months, born in Camborne, widow, boarding house keeper (own account) was living in Venton League, Hayle.
