Elizabeth ROWE
- Born: 1784, Camborne, Cornwall
- Christened: 7 Apr 1784, Camborne, Cornwall
- Married: 9 Jun 1812, Camborne, Cornwall
- Died: Bef 1861
Research Notes:
Elizabeth's age is completely out in either the 1841 or 1851 Censuses. It's worth noting, however, that one of the witnesses at the marriage of Elizabeth Rowe and John Vivian was a George Rowe, who was probably either her brother or father. If her brother, then Elizabeth was the eldest daughter of George Rowe and Jane Saundry, and was christened on 7 Apr 1784 in Camborne. Three individuals by the name of Elizabeth Rowe were born in the period 1792-1793, daughters of James Rowe & Elizabeth, William Rowe & Ann and Philip Rowe and Elizabeth, but none of these had a son George. Despite the fact that, more often than not, ages given in the 1841 Census are rounded off to the nearest 5 years for parents, the age given for Elizabeth (see below) means she was born about 1784. See marriage notes.
