Abstract of the Will of Francis Paynter of the Parish of St. Issey in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, written 20 Mar 1835, proved 1 Aug 1845. 2
Gives his freehold messuage, tenement farm and lands called Messengrose in the parish of St. Issey to his son Francis.
Gives £20 to his son William.
Whereas he entered into a bond prior to his marriage to his wife Grace, dated 31 Dec 1807, whereby he became bound to Thomas May and Thomas May the younger in the sum of £1200 conditional that if the marriage should take place and he happens to die within the lifetime of his intended wife Grace May, then his executor should pay to the said Thomas May and Thomas May junr, the sum of £600, in trust, for the benefit of his intended wife, Grace May and her heirs.
All the rest of his farming, live and dead stock, corn, implements of husbandry, goods & chattels, he gives to his wife Grace and to his son Francis, share and share alike, appointing them co-executors of his last will and testament.
