In 1861, Mark Rule (40) of Camborne, miner, and wife Ann (37) of Portwin, were living in Navegoby, Camborne. Present were children: James (13), miner, Mary Hannah (12), work to mine, John (11), miner, Mark (5), scholar, Anne (2), Joseph (1)

In 1871, Mark Rule (50) of Camborne, miner, and wife Ann (47) of Port Isaac, were living in Camborne. Present were children: John (21), miner, Mark (16), miner, Anna (13), scholar, Joseph (11), scholar, William (9), scholar, Olivia (7), scholar, Kitty (5), scholar, James H. (3), Frederick (2)

In 1881, Mark Rule (60) of Camborne, retired tin miner, and wife Ann (58), were living in Knavegoby, Camborne. Present were children: Annie (22), dressmaker, William (21), tin miner, Olivia (18), machinist, Kitty (16), James (15), tin miner, Frederick (13), and grandson Oliver Rule (7) of Camborne.

The Will of Mark Rule late of Knavegoby in the Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, miner, who died 10 April 1882 at Knavegoby, was proved at Bodmin by William Rabling of Parc Bracket in Camborne, gentleman, the sole executor.
