"Funeral services for Maxine Sheehan, 69, rural Hazleton, will be Feb. 14, 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hazleton. The Revs. Laverne Gerleman and J. David Papper. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery in Independence. Her body was cremated. Sheehan died Feb 10 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. She was born Dec. 18, 1914 in Hazleton, the daughter of Lynn and Genevieve Lahner Silka. She married John Sheehan on June 2, 1936.
