In 1870, Elizabeth Walton (20) of Wisconsin, keeping house, and husband Leonard Walton (29) of Penn., miner, were living in Shullsburg, Lafayette, Wisconsin. Present were daughter Allie (2) of Wisconsin, and sister Frances Rule (18) of Wisconsin.

In 1880, Lizzie Walton (33) of Wisconsin, keeping house, and husband Leonard Walton (40) of Pennsylvania, miner, were living in Gold Hill, Boulder, Colorado. Present were children (born in WI): Allie (12), Bennet (6), Oscar (2). Also present was Bennet Osborne (50) of England [Note: one of Elizabeth's aunts, Susanna Rule, married an Edwin/Edward Osborne].

In 1885, E. E. Walton (37) and husband L. R. Walton (48) were living in Boulder, Colorado. Present were children: Allie (17), Bennett (11), Oscar (7), Walter (3), mother Aurelia [sic] Rule (67)

In 1900, Elizabeth H. Walton (51) of Wisconsin (mother of 7 children, 3 living), and husband Leonard R. Walton (62) of Pennsylvania, ore miner, were living in Gold Hill Precinct, Boulder, Colorado. Present were sons: Oscar (21), ore miner, Walter (18), grocery. [Son-in-law William H. Patton and his second wife were living nextdoor].

Elizabeth married Leonard R. WALTON, son of John WALTON and Mary, on 8 Mar 1866 in Shullsburg, Lafayette, WI, USA. (Leonard R. WALTON was born in Jan 1838 in Pennsylvania, USA, died in 1938 in Boulder Co., CO, USA and was buried in Gold Hill Cemetery, Boulder, Boulder Co., CO, USA.)
