In 1841 Ann Veal, aged about 45, born in the county, ag. lab.,. was living in Wellington St., Camborne, Cornwall. With her were children Stephen (15), copper miner, Maria (15), tailor's apprentice, Willm. (11), copper miner, and Henry (7).

In 1851 Ann Viall, aged 54, born in Camborne, fruiterer, widow, was living in College St., Camborne. At home were children (born in Camborne): Maria (24), tailoress, and Henry (18), tailor.

In 1861 Ann Vial, aged 64, born in Cambone, fruiterer, widow, was living in College Row, Camborne. With her were daughter Maria (36) of Camborne, tailoress, grandson John N. Vial (11) of Camborne, blacksmith.
