Thomas Day, who was born at Mineral Point, Wis, Aug. 3rd, 1860, died at Janesville, Jan. 7, 1925, his age being at the time of his death, 64years, 5 months and 4 days.
He leaves to mourn his death, three sons of Janesville, Stanley, Homer and Wilmer. Also, three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Nelson Peebles of Mineral Point; Mrs. George Stevenson of Beloit; and Mrs. Otto [Alice] Kliebenstein [Alice]of Milwaukee; John of Mineral Point and Francis of Milwaukee.
Fifty years of his life was spent at his shoe making trade. He was a skilled working and where ever employed was appreciated to the extent of once tried always desired.
The funeral took place in this city at the home of Mrs. Peebles, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 Services conducted by Rev. Kirkbirde at the Episcopal Church.

THOMAS DAY - Mr. Thomas Day was born at Mineral Point, Wis., August 3, 1860 and passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 1925 at Janesville, Wis. His age at the time of his death was 64 years, and 5 months. He leaves to mourn his loss, three sons namely, Stanley, Homer and Wilmer. Also three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Nelson Peebles of this city, Mrs. George Stevenson of Beloit, Mrs. Oto Kliebenstein of Milwaukee, John Day of this city and Francis Day of Milwaukee. Fifty years of his life was spent at the shoe making trace. This long service at this trade proved that this man was a great benefit to the public.
The funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. N. Peebles on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., Rev. R.G. Kirkbride officiating. Interment was made in Graceland.
