LISKEARD.

SUDDEN DEATH.—Mr. Alfred Prideaux, who has practised as surgeon in Liskeard for 40 years, visited his patients as usual on Tuesday, but after retiring to rest in the evening was seized with apoplexy, and died in an hour in the presence of his daughter and Mr. Nettle, his son-in-law and partner.

The Will of Alfred Prideaux late of Liskeard in the county of Cornwall, surgeon, who died 22 November 1881 at Liskeard, was proved 29 April 1882 at Bodmin by the Reverend Walter Alfred Prideaux of 46 Emma-place East Stonehouse in the county of Devon, clerk, the son, and Arthur Pridham of Mannamead Plymouth in the county of Devon, bank inspector, the nephew, the executors. Personal estate £1,885 11s. 3
