Elizabeth Williams
- Born: 1814, Camborne, Cornwall
- Christened: 3 Dec 1814, Camborne, Cornwall 2
- Married: 26 Apr 1835, Camborne, Cornwall 1
Research Notes:
Probably the same Elizabeth Williams who married Peter Williams, noting that:
(a) she lived in Penponds (where she grew up). Her sister Jenefer (who married William Beckerleg) was also living in Penponds. (b) In the 1891 Census, her "niece" Mary Jane Beckerley was staying with her, presumably the same Mary Jane Beckerleg who was staying with her sister Jennifer and her husband William Beckerleg at the time of the 1861 and 1871 Censuses (then referred to as a niece of Jennifer's husband William). (c) eldest son James Williams married Mary James, whose brother John James married Eliza Jane Beckerleg (Elizabeth's niece, daughter of sister Jennifer above). (d) daughter-in-law Caroline Williams (wife of son John) was working as a domestic servant for John and Eliza James in 1871. Presumably M.A. Williams, another domestic servant, was Elizabeth's daughter Mary Ann.
