Obituary

"Evans, JoAnn
DODGEVILLE - JoAnn Evans, age 85, of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at Bloomfield Manor, in the presence of her family. She was a lifelong resident of Dodgeville. She was born on June 29, 1921, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dodgeville, a daughter of Carl and Mary (Thies) Rock. She graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1937. On Aug. 22, 1942, JoAnn married Ralph Evans at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dodgeville, where she was a lifelong member. Born and raised as a farm girl, JoAnn was a homemaker for many years until she worked at Hennessey Livestock as a bookkeeper. JoAnn and Ralph loved the farm life and retired from farming in 1995. JoAnn is survived by her husband, Ralph; her sons, Corky (Eileen) Evans of New London, Wis., Joe (Nancy) Evans of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and John Evans of Bloomington, Minn.; her grandchildren, Cory (Catherine) Evans of Wilmette, Ill., Tatum (Todd) Mayberry of Austin, Texas, Peggy Jo (Ken) Rouse of Cassville, Wis. and Anita (Shane) Brown of Wausakee, Wis.; her great-grandchildren, Kessa Evans of Wausakee, Kendra Rouse of Cassville and Sybil Grace Evans of Wilmette, Ill.; her sisters, Mary Misky of Mount Horeb and Peg Rock of Dodgeville; her sister-in-law, Pat Rock of Dodgeville; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jack (Kathryn) Rock, Bob Rock and Tony (Romell) Rock; and her niece, Jackie Palzkill...." ²

Jo married Ralph V. EVANS, son of Edward EVANS and Sheba Jayne VIVIAN, on 22 Aug 1942 in Dodgeville, Iowa, WI, USA. (Ralph V.
