In 1605 Richard Whitta was co-executor and a beneficiary of the will of his nephew John Julyan of Gwithian, receiving 7 shillings.
In 1607 Richard Whita was sole executor and a beneficiary of his mother's will.

In the name of god the Father the sonne and the holy ghost amen I Richard Whita of the p'ishe of Gwithyan doe make my last will and Testamente unto you in manner and Forme as followeth first I bequeath my soule too lord Jesus Christ
