In 1871, Jane Dale (28) of Crowan and husband John Dale (28) of St. Erth, engine driver in factory, were living in Mount Pleasant, Phillack. Present were children: John (6) of Crowan, scholar, Emily (4) of Crowan, scholar, Gloriana [Georgiana] (2) of Phillack.

In 1881, Jane Dale (38) of Crowan and husband John Dale (38) of Hayle, engine fitter at factory, were living in Mount Pleasant, Phillack. Present were children (a) born in Crowan: John (16), ship builder, E.J. (14), dressmaker, and (b) born in Hayle: Georgina (12), scholar, Ella (9), scholar, Minnie (7), scholar

In 1891, Jane Dale (48) of Hayle and husband John Dale (48) of Hayle, engine fitter, were living in Mount Pleasant, Phillack. Present were daughters (born Hayle): Ellen (19), Minnie (17), milliner's assistant
