CADILLAC Eva Luella Wingard Carlson died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at her home. She was 84.
She was born on Oct. 16, 1918 in Port Huron to Carl F. and Minnie (Jilbert) Wingard.
She married Richard A. Carlson on Nov. 30, 1945 at Tustin Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2001.
Mrs. Carlson had worked for the World War II effort in Port Huron from 1940-45. She loved the Lord, her family, her home and garden. She made quilts, did knitting and was her family historian.
Survivors include children, Ralph Arthur (Diane) Carlson of Evart, Fredric Richard Carlson of Hersey, Susanne Marie (Dennis) Shaw of Cadillac; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vivian J. Wingard; two infant brothers; grandson, Cary C. Carlson; daughter-in-law, Barbara Carlson; and niece, Helen Wingard.
