Research Notes:
Some researchers identify Mary with Marian Vivian of Vellansaundry who was buried on 18 Mar 1817 in Camborne, aged 44 years. However, there was no Mary Sowden (Souden &c.) born or christened in the 1770s in Camborne or nearby parishes. Rather, it seems more likely that this Mary lived [as a widow] in Illogan Church Town, and was buried in Camborne in 1831 aged 63 years. Note that a Henry Vivian was witness to the marriage of Mary's sister Anne Souden to James Wakeford in 1793.
