"Dorothy Payne Kopp, 83, of Redding, died at Mercy Medical Center.

Born in Minnesota, she moved to Shasta County in 1990.

She was a bookkeeper of P.E. O'Hare in San Jose and Standard Oil Company in Minnesota; a former Queen Mum member of the Vineyard Chapter of the Red Hat Society; and member of Magic Palette in California, Redding Neighbors and Newcomers Club, and First Methodist Church in Redding.

Survivors include husband, James; daughters, Susan Abdulla of Cottonwood and Lee Lopez of Brentwood; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren..."
