"Ivy Pearl Lee, 92, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at HCR ManorCare in Kingsford with her family by her side.

Ivy P. Tremain was born on Aug. 4, 1918, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Stephen Tremain and Ella (Perkins) Tremain.She was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain, and the last surviving member of her family. Ivy attended the Iron Mountain schools.

Ivy Tremain married William H. Lee on June 15, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1978. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for many years.

She enjoyed ceramics, reading, traveling, and sleeping. She loved going to camp, trips to the casino,bingo, and her dogs.

She was a wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She warmed your heart with her smile, and was a very giving person. She loved her family very much and you could not ask for a better mother or mother-in-law.

In her early years, she loved to go to camp with her husband and they also liked riding motorcycles and snowmobiles.

She was survived by two sons, William H. Lee Jr. and David J. (Doris) Lee, both of Iron Mountain; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ivy Lee was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen A. Lee on Dec. 6, 1976, four brothers, Roland, Reuben, Arthur, and Sidney Tremain, and three sisters, Philothea Lindstrom, Mary Lange and Almyra "Mimi" Johnson." ¹
