"Adelheyt comitissa, comitis Everhardi filia" donated “predium suum Ortinam” [Orten (Bois-le-Duc)] to Utrecht St Marten, for the souls of “sue ac mariti sui Henrici...per manum Hermanni...advocatum”, by charter dated to [1076/99]. The Chronicon Affligemense names "Adela comitissa Lovaniensis" as mother of two sons "Heinrico et Godefrido" specifying that she was one of the founders of Afflighem Abbey. She founded the abbey of Afflighem in 1086. 1

Adelheid married Henri II, comte de Louvain, son of Lambert II "Baudry", comte de Louvain and Uda de Lorraine, before 1065. (Henri II, comte de Louvain was born in Louvain, Brabant, Lorraine, France, died between 1078 and 1079 and was buried in 1079 in St Gertrud, Nivelles, France.)
