- Willard "Bill" Holpin, age 77, died on Friday, Oct. 14, 2005. He was born on Feb. 20, 1928, in Grant county. Bill was a lifelong mechanic. He is survived by five children, Larry (Sharon) Holpin, Michael (Elaine) Holpin, Diane Holpin, Jeff (Tina) Holpin and Cathy (Bruce) Kimball; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Koppen. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Maud Holpin; a son, James; and a sister, Shirley Caley.
