Clarinda Thomas of Nancekuke Down, widow, was buried 20 Sep 1814 in Illogan. Her age is given as 77, over 10 years out; the only Clarinda Bennetts born c. 1737 died young in Camborne in 1740, daughter of John Bennetts and Mary. Unless there was another Clarinda Bennetts whose name was not entered into the register, it is here assumed that this Clarinda married Stephen Thomas and the age given in the burial record is incorrect.
