Saint-Venant comments that “il est permis de croire que les moines pour reconnaître ce don généreux l´aidèrent à payer sa rançon”. “Gaufridus cognomento Jordanis, in castri possessione...Pruliacum...a patre meo...Gaufrido filius et heres” donated property to Preuilly by charter dated to 1 Aug [1097], witnessed by “Almodii matris sue, Beatrix sororis eius...”.
