In 1861, Samuel Vincent (23) of Camborne Cornwall, was boarding in Old Bradwell, Buckinghamshire.

In 1871, Samuel Vincent (33) of Camborne Cornwall, Wesleyan minister, and wife Elizth. (26) of Brislington Somerset, were living in a private house in Midsomer Norton, Somerset. Present were children: Frederic H. S. (2) of Fisherton Wiltshire, Thomas N. B. (1) of Fisherton, Samuel J. L. (2m) of Midsomer Norton.

In 1881, Samuel Vincent (43) of Camborne Cornwall, Wesleyan minister, and wife Elizabeth E. (36) of Brislington Somerset, were living in Hepworth House Trentham Rd, Trentham, Staffordshire. Present were children: Frederick H. (12) of Salisbury Wilts., Thomas N. (11) of Salisbury, Samuel J. (10) of Midsomernorton Somerset, John W. (7) of Kingswood Hill, Gloucestershire.

"Samuel was the son of Thomas Vincent, 1813-1873. Samuel was born in Troon and died on the 2nd October 1910; he is buried at Harehills New Cemetery. A tablet in his memory is contained in the Camborne Wesleyan Chapel. The volume records Samuel's first sermon at the Plantation Chapel, Camborne on Sunday 5th October 1856 as 'poor'. He entered the Wesleyan Ministry in 1863 and served in circuits all over the country. Included in the volume are miscellaneous news cuttings, notes, letters, memorabilia, memoranda and photographs relating to the Minister and his family. Items of Cornish interest include: two class tickets for Thomas Vincent of Camborne, Samuel's grandfather, December 1818 and September 1819; article on Thomas Vincent, local preacher and class leader published in December 1895 and a preacher's plan for the Camborne Wesleyan Circuit, July-September 1857."
