In 1861, Jane Lobb (33) of Camborne and husband John Lobb (34) of Paul, sailor, were living in Wherry Town, Madron. Present were children: Emily* (15) of Camborne, dressmaker, William (8) of Camborne, scholar, Caroline (5) of Penzance, scholar, Edward (2) of Penzance

* Emily was too old to have been born of John and Jane's marriage; note that, in 1851, an Emily Collins, then aged 7, was staying with Jane's eldest brother William and was called his sister. Perhaps John and Jane adopted her...

Jane married John LOBB Jr., son of John LOBB and Ann, on 5 May 1852 in Camborne, Cornwall. (John LOBB Jr. was born in 1829 in St. Nowan, Paul, Cornwall and was christened on 2 Jun 1829 in Paul, Cornwall.)
