John SHEPHARD

   Research Notes:

In 1851, John Shephard (33) of Redruth, carpenter & joiner, and wife Ann (35) of Penzance, were living in Fore St., Redruth. Present was daughter Elizth. Jane (1) of Redruth.

In 1861, John Shephard (42) of Redruth, master carpenter employing 3 mens & 3 boys, and wife Ann Lloyd (43) of Penzance, were living in East End, Redruth. Present were children (born in Redruth): Elizth. Jane (11), scholar, John (9), scholar, Ann Lloyd (3m)

In 1871, John Shephard (55) [sic] of Redruth, builder, widower, was living in Richmond Place, Redruth. Present were children: John (18), carpenter's apprentice, Elizabeth (21), house keeper, Ann Lloyd (10), scholar

In 1881, John Shephard (58) [sic] of Redruth, carpenter, widower, was lodging in Daniel Place, Penzance.

John married Ann Lloyd PASCOE on 13 Mar 1848 in St. Martin in the Fields, London, Westminster, England. (Ann Lloyd PASCOE was born about 1817 in Penzance, Cornwall and died between Jan 1869 and Mar 1869 in Redruth, Cornwall.)
