Aveline (Adeline) DE PIERREFONDS

   General Notes:

Many secondary sources claim Aveline's mother was Heddive de Mouchy (including Northern France Nobility, Seigneurs de Trie: http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/NORTHERN%20FRANCE.htm#_Toc219106075; Etienne Pattou et al)

However, Aveline was born about 1095, and Heddive de Mouchy was born until about 1145 and married to Enguerrand II Aiguillon de Trie after 1161. If, as claimed, Heddive de Mouchy was married to a Nivelon de Pierrefonds, it could not have been Nivelon II, who died in 1147.

Aveline married Jean I DE NESLE, son of Raoul I DE NESLE Seigneur de Nesle et Falvy and Raintrude (Ramentrude) D' EU Countess of Soissons. (Jean I DE NESLE was born about 1085 and died about 1110.)

Aveline also married Cte Hugues I "Cholet" DE ROUCY Seigneur de Nizy-Le-Comte et de Sévigny, son of Ebles II DE RAMERUPT Comte de Roucy and Sybille (Mabillde) DE HAUTEVILLE. (Cte Hugues I "Cholet" DE ROUCY Seigneur de Nizy-Le-Comte et de Sévigny was born about 1090 in Roucy, Aisne, Picardy, France and died about 1160.)
