Seigneur de Tourville. Guillaume de Jumièges records that “Turulfo de Ponte-Audomari...filius...Torf” was the brother of “Turchetillus pater Anschetilli de Harecurt”. According to Robert de Torigny, he was the brother of Thorold and father of Ansketil d’Harcourt. The Genealogia Fundatoris of Tintern Abbey, Monmouthshire names ”Turketillus…frater…Turulphi, cuius filius Hasculfus d’Harcourt” married “aliam sororem…comitissæ Gunnoræ” by whom he was father of “duos…filios…Walterum de Giffard primogenitum…”. The primary source which confirms the identity of Turchetil’s wife has not been identified. ²
