Mrs. Virgil (Mildred) Garner, 62, of Pomona, Calif., and formerly of Dubuque died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday in Finley Hospital, Dubuque....
Mrs. Garner was born in Platteville, Wis. She lived in the Dubuque area all her life until May, when she and her husband moved to Pomona.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Jean) Berendes of Dubuque, Mrs. Carl (Judy) Stoneking of Chino, Calif., and Mrs. Calvin (Diane) Courtright of Pomona; five sons, James of Quincy, Ill., Donald of Black Creek, Wis., Daniel and Jerry, both of Dubuque and David of Epworth, Ia.; 25 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and three brothers, William Mann of Platteville, Raymond Mann of Reno, Nev., and Donald Mann of Mellington, Tenn." 2
