"Cecil J. Rule, 79, of Centennial Location passed away late Sunday Morning at the Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center in Laurium where he had been a patient since Friday.
Cecil was born on May 8, 1919 in Centennial Heights a son of Richard Thomas and Ethel Rule and had attended the local schools of Centennial Heights.
For most of his life he was employed as a salesman for Pearce Hardware and Furniture in Calumet and later work for and retired from Calumet Furniture.
He was married to Helen Boberg on April 8, 1942 in the Mohawk United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas.
He is a member of the Laurium Methodist Church.
